Every day there are a 1001 reasons out there to be anxious, whether it be school, work, world events, or family and friends. We can't escape it. Some things are easier to deal with and others not so much. But in the midst of all the craziness, in Christ we are assured to find peace no matter the circumstances. Here are ten Bible verses on which you can rely when you feel that anxiety creeping up.
Psalms 4:8 (NKJV) - "I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety."
Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV) - "You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You."
John 14:27 (NKJV) - "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
John 16:33 (NKJV) - "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you[a]will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
